Nicole has been a Registered Psychologist since 1999. Her primary areas of specialty are Fertility issues (including IVF, Surrogacy, and donor use), Perinatal mental health, and adjustment to parenting.

Fertility
Being unable to start (or add to) your family when you wish to can be deeply distressing. It may also put strain on your relationship with your partner as well as with family and friends. Making decisions about moving from one level of intervention (IVF) to another that may involve the use of a donor and/or surrogacy, can be daunting. For anyone making the decision to stop treatment altogether, it is a difficult and heartbreaking process that may require support outside of the clinic setting.
Nicole is a member of both ANZICA (Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association) and FSA (Fertility Society Australia). She also has personal experience in IVF treatment.
Surrogacy
In order to enter into a Surrogacy arrangement in Queensland or New South Wales, all parties are required to undertake Pre-Surrogacy counselling with an ANZICA registered Counsellor. Nicole is also able to provide Post Surrogacy counselling, and Surrogacy Guidance reports, for those applying for Parentage Orders.
Grief and Loss
Experiencing the death of a loved one can be the most difficult time of your life. Often other peoples well meaning support can be of little help. Processing the grief and building your life back up after a loss sometimes requires the support of a professional outside of your usual support networks.
Rebates
Medicare rebates available with a current Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.
Private Health rebates may be available please check with your health fund.
